Thanks to our members’ generosity, we have now contributed a total of over $217,000 in matched donations for Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio since 2016, providing more than an estimated one million meals.

2024 Totals
$14,017.31 in member donations + $15,982.69 matched by LorMet = $30,000 total donations providing an estimated 180,000 holiday meals to local families

Our members showed remarkable generosity in response to this year’s campaign for Second Harvest Food Bank, coming together to fight hunger and support families as the holiday season approaches.

“Because LorMet and their members have stepped up again this year, the impact on local families will be significant. Our food pantries saw a 32% increase in household visits this past year and their generosity will go a long way to help our neighbors enjoy the holidays. We are so grateful for the LorMet team and all they’ve done to help the community.”

Julie Chase-Morefield, President & CEO of Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio

“Our goal with our first campaign for Second Harvest in 2016 was to demonstrate our shared commitment to supporting families in our communities. Simply asking for donations without doing our part didn’t feel right, so we chose to match our members’ contributions to amplify our impact. Together, we’ve been able to provide one million meals over eight years. Reflecting on this journey, it’s inspiring to see the continued generosity of our members and the powerful impact we’ve made together for local families.”
